Scott's Mullet Challenge for Lustgarten
Donation protected
Words by Scott Byrd:
Close to 20 years ago my daughter Lauren Elliot asked me to grow my hair out with her to donate. Since that time, I have donated a little over five feet of hair to those who needed it. I think my long hair days are coming to an end, but I hate to not use it for one last grand finale... within the last year I have lost a wonderful mother-in-law, Kathy O'Sullivan, and a very close friend, Jon E. Neuman, to pancreatic cancer.
I have decided to raise money for a leading foundation in pancreatic cancer research, Lustgarten Foundation.
With that being said, I have an appointment to have my hair cut on July 26th at 12:30.
If I can raise $1,000 before that time, I will have Lori Groom give me a PERMED MULLET which I will sport for one week.
By the end of that week, if the total amount reaches $2,500, I will keep the PERMED MULLET for one full month. At the end of that time, if the total fundraising reaches $10,000, I will rock a PERMED MULLET until January 1, 2025.
100% OF THE PROCEEDS WILL GO TO LUSTGARTEN FOUNDATION.
(My wife Rachel is totally cringing right now...)
