In Memoriam of Scotty (Eric) Williams

Our dear colleague and advocate for faculty, Jessica Rosazza Williams, recently lost her husband and life partner, Scotty (Eric) Williams. After all Jessica has done to support us, her CNM colleagues would like to extend our care to her in this difficult time of mourning. Funds raised will be used to provide for Jessica and the couple's pets as she takes the time she needs to grieve and will also help with future memorial costs. Thank you for your love and care.

Here is what Jessica shared with us about her beloved partner:

Scotty (Eric) passed away unexpectedly.

He was better at this than I was. He was always good at saying the sweetest, most sincere thing in the world. I was the comic relief.

Big. Big is the word I keep coming up with when I think of my husband. Big. A big presence. A big heart. Big emotions. He felt things so deeply. Deeply in a way that many people probably didn’t realize.

He wanted to help everyone so much. And brought home so many dogs.

He was a lot of things to a lot of people. He was a friend, a massage therapist, a coach. For me, he was my best friend, my love, the center of my world for the last 19 years. He gave me the biggest, furriest family. And I love him so hard every single day.

Scotty’s services will be held at Riverside Funeral Home, located at 225 San Mateo Blvd in Albuquerque, NM, on Wednesday, April 24 from 4-6 pm, with a small reception to follow at O’Niell’s Nob Hill.
