Scotty's Road to Recovery

Never in a million years did I ever think I would be sitting here creating a campaign on GoFundMe, asking friends and family to help out my family financially. But here I am, sitting with my mom running through numbers associated with a family emergency trying to help her figure out how to afford the medical bills, lawyer fees, and costs of living while both her and Scott are out of work. 

In short, Scotty's 49th birthday celebration ended abruptly after a brutal assault that left him in the hospital for 5 days. Scott took a harsh blow to the head that left him with brain swelling and bleeding, fractures in his right ear and skull, and many other medical issues. Scott is finally at home with his family where he belongs, but the fight is far from over.

Scott is the kindest, most sensitive person I have truly ever met and for someone to be capable of doing this to him is something I'll never be able to wrap my head around. Scott will be fighting to heal and to regain a sense of normalcy for months.
