Scotty's Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On Sunday (Feb 26), Scott, Linda, Mike and Molly were awoken by a raging fire. Thankfully, they were able to wake all their neighbors, notify the emergency services and get to safety.
Thankfully, no one was hurt physically but standing in the cool February air and watching helplessly as your home is destroyed is something no one should go through. After we got into the room after everything was cleared we saw that just about everything was exposed to smoke and a lot of the apartment suffered from fire and water damage. Now is when the hard part truly begins for them all. They are in limbo now waiting for the insurance process and are unable to really see if anything is salvageable.
Scott is someone who is extremely selfless and charitable. He always has advice and is a wonderful person to call a friend. Through his work events he has raised thousands for various charities around Charleston. Linda is a wonderful woman who always puts herself last. She's also always available if you need a mom's opinion on anything. Mike (Scott's brother) recently moved down from Boston and has fallen in love with Charleston. Last but not least, Miss Molly is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to make sure that all of these wonderful people (and dog) have enough money to comfortably transition out of this mess. They would be among the first to donate to a cause like this if their friends were affected and are more than deserving of some help, especially through this terrible situation.
