Scout BSA Troop 2

We are Boy Scout Troop 2 of Aldan Pa. chartered in 1920; we just celebrated our 100th anniversary on February 1, 2020.  During our 100 years, Troop 2 has developed close to 100 Eagle Scouts and contributed to many young men’s leadership ability and character.  As you know, Covid-19 has disrupted all of our lives and most organizations. Troop 2 is no exception.  We have not been able to conduct our usual fundraisers, so we are asking for your support. Troop 2 has a long tradition of turning young men/boys who might otherwise become restless, disruptive and possibly end up in trouble into responsible, purpose-driven citizens who contribute significantly to their communities and the country.


Troop 2 is a very active unit, which means there are costs…
 Camping at least 9-weekend trips with one six-night long summer camp trip a year
 Annual awards banquet 
 Annual BSA (Boy Scouts of America) registration fee for scouts and leaders
Storage unit charges
Stipend for those who transport our Scouts to and from events
