SCRJ Start UP

What do you do when your college isn't throwing condoms at you or even providing sexual and reproductive health services in the student clinic? Students at Georgetown, Notre Dame, Loyola University Chicago, Santa Clara, and DePaul became aware of their respective school's refusal to provide sexual and reproductive healthcare. They responded by forming their own healthcare networks for their peers. These groups have provided free condoms, safer sex supplies, emergency contraception, and referrals to local clinics when their universities refused to do so.
Now, these groups are banding together to form the Student Coalition for Reproductive Justice (SCRJ), a student-powered non-profit fighting for reproductive justice at Catholic colleges and universities. By forming a nationwide network of student organizers, we will grow our movement, provide peer organizing support, coordinate national campaigns, and push for policy reform.
Our goals are simple: we want to hold the Catholic colleges and universities to the same standard as every other college and university in America. In doing so, we will enable all students to take control of their own health on their terms.
In order to realize these goals, we need your help. SCRJ needs to become a registered non-profit in order to enact the campaigns we've envisioned. Even a $5 donation can have a massive impact on our work and ability to pursue the goals and long road we have ahead of us. Without access, there is no choice.
