Scrubs- aid for materials and postage costs
Donation protected
Dear Friends ,
Along with several thousand other costume makers, seamstresses, designers, embroiderers and craft lovers across the UK, I find myself sewing scrubs for NHS centres and hospitals. Together we are volunteering our time and skill to help in the way we best can.
Many of us have fronted the costs of buying fabric and materials to make the scrubs, and we are also paying for postage to send materials to each other and to post the scrubs to hospitals.
Others are willing to get going, but haven’t the funds to get materials and to post. I am one of these people.
Organisers of “For The Love Of Scrubs - Our NHS Needs You”, who are linking seamstresses to hospitals and providing a platform to access information and resources, have raised funds to offer a number of kits to individuals, but very rapidly we are seeing the demand go up.
Help me make scrubs and get these delivered to the doctors and nurses who need them. Help me raise money to buy fabric and materials that I can donate to fellow scrub makers across our networks.
