Community,
Our dear friend is in need of some help during a very difficult time. Since September, Tracy MacDonald has been handed one obstacle after another. In a short amount of time, Tracy has become a single mother to her 2 young boys (she’s the primary caregiver), she has worked full time and she has dealt with the financial fallout from the decisions of someone else. Through each of these obstacles, Tracy has put her boys and her students first. She has shown up each day with a smile on her face and love in her heart, even though she was dealing with some very personal and difficult emotional hardship behind the scenes. As Tracy remained strong and steadfast for herself and her boys, she proved just how strong she is. On Monday, the stress of everything caught up to Tracy and she was admitted to Munson after having a stroke in her cerebellum. The doctors have shared that Tracy will likely be in the hospital for another 10-14 days and that her body will take time to recover. As a 33 year old single mom, with 2 boys (ages 3 & 5), Tracy needs our help now more than ever.
It is not with a light heart that I reach out to you. I know Tracy wants the world to know she’s a force. She doesn’t like to ask for help and she wants people to see her for the strong, confident woman she is. However, even the strongest of us need to lean on our community in times of need. As Tracy navigates the financial uncertainties she’s been left with and the medical road to recovery ahead, Tracy needs us. If you are able, please consider supporting Tracy and her boys as she recovers and refocuses on the future. Whether it’s prayers, thoughtful wishes, positive vibes, a hug or a financial donation, your support is appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
