SCVP Foundation Class-10M Walk for Woodland Trust
The SCVP school London, Foundation class have chosen the Woodland Trust UK this year as a part of their effort as a class to contribute back to our society. This self-selected charity has a very relevant and heartfelt association with all of the class members (age 12) and they all see the importance of the message they promote and the necessity to act now to help the charity.
The Woodland Trust is the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity, who are fighting for the future of woods and trees. Since 1972, they have planted over 43 million trees. Trees are essential to people, wildlife and the environment. They clean the air we breathe, cool our cities, purify our water, provide homes for wildlife and provide a natural solution against climate change.

The Challenge is a 10 Mile walk through the Chilterns in Greater London. Chess Valley follows the River Chess from Rickmansworth to Chesham, through the countryside, through the valley and with beautiful scenery around.
In line with the charity, we have chosen a walk that will take us through woodland and the natural landscape, giving us the chance to really bond with nature and as a group we will be discussing all the positive elements trees provide us as well as spending some inner mindfulness time working on our positive energy from the soul.
The class is also looking to perform some extra achievements to maximise the donations that can be raised. These include 50 recitals of the Logassa prayer, 100 recitals of the navkar mantra prayer and selling of homemade food items at the end of the walk.

Please donate as much as you can that can help the Woodland Trust to preserve out woodlands and plant more trees. All donations made will go in full amounts to the Woodland Trust UK
You can donate using cash directly to the participants and fill out the form or you can use the GoFundme link to donate online
