Help Disabled Mom Keep Her Home

I am Dana Savage trying for a Hail Mary to save my mother's home of 49 years. The major freeze that hit in 2022 made our home uninhabitable.

Allstate delayed payment for over a year to cover damages done to our home.

Mom has a reverse mortgage, and it is a rule to keep annual property taxes current and maintain property insurance.

After 2 years and 4 months, moving my disabled mother to 5 temporary housing, we need this Hail Mary to not lose our house.

... and to top it off, last week Allstate denied renewal of coverage, and the only coverage we can get will cost $8,000 for property insurance that has to be paid in full upfront and $5,000 for property taxes. We have a short time to try to get this money together before we lose everything.

If we lose this house, then I will have to put mom in a Medicaid nursing home, and that will be the worst possible outcome. If you can help in any way, we will be forever grateful. Mom and I thank you for your consideration ~
