In 2015, our lovely manager, Michelle, was diagnosed with HER2+ breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy, grueling radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Her battle lasted three years. Then, in 2018, she was told that she had colorectal cancer and ovarian cancer, and the prognosis was not good. This resulted in more chemotherapy to prolong her life, and now she has a permanent stoma. In July this year, Michelle was diagnosed with her 4th cancer again, which resulted in her thyroid being removed. She now awaits to find out if she needs more treatment, but without her faith, family and friends, she would not have gotten through this. Michelle never let her cancer define her or get in the way of life. She worked through all her treatments and came into the office right after her chemo and radiotherapy.

Michelle has dedicated herself to Key Estate Agents and has now set up her own company, Staging610, so we have decided to run the Pretty Muddy Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research to stop this horrible disease and show our appreciation to Michelle's life and determination.
