Help Jordan Kick Cancer

Donation protected
Being told someone has cancer always brings unexpected questions, feelings and emotions. No child should be left to battle this diagnosis on their own! Our family is starting this page to help contribute to some of the financial burdens that comes along with a diagnosis of cancer. Many of you know, Jordan, a 7 years old, silly and joyful little boy. He’s a son, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend to many…lights up this world with his kindness and beautiful smile and overwhelming energy. Innocently playing on a trampoline he fell and hurt his leg….never did i as a parent think that a trip to the ER for a childhood fall would result in a diagnosis of osteosarcoma on Halloween, October 31,2021, and it has been a whirlwind ever since. Jordan is just finishing up his 4th round of chemo and has more rounds (7 months ) of chemo and hopefully beginning of January a surgery to remove a tumor in his right leg.

Learning to cope with this unexpected tragedy is often challenging, especially in during these times. Due to the never ending supply chain issues we are all facing these days. Each round of chemo he spends about 2 weeks per month as a extended patient at Tampa General Hospital. I, his mother, along side his grandmother, Lavetta has to stay with him during these stays. It is and has been difficult helping him adjust to these new circumstances. He often has a hard time eating and drinking due to the side effects of chemo. Many times the nurses and I have to beg and bribe him to even eat foods he once enjoyed. These are just a few difficulties that I face while still being a mom to his 2 sisters (Aubrey and Brielle). Attempting to work has been challenging for me. As you can imagine this has been difficult! As the holidays are upon us our family is asking for support for Jordan and his family. Let’s all try and take some of the financial worries away so Jordan’s family can concentrate on KICKING Cancer’s butt and being together loving on and supporting Jordan in this unfortunate time in his life.
