Medical related expenses

My name is Destin. My older brother Devin and sister-in-law Katie, just had their third baby on December 8, 2022. A beautiful baby girl named Violet. Very unexpectedly, she was born with some significant genetic mutations, Pierre Robinson Syndrome, and Sticklers Syndrome, causing cleft palate, recessed chin, and Other complications. She is going to have some pretty major surgeries in her future to allow her to breathe and eat on her own, and until then she will be in the ICU indefinitely. It looks like the earliest the surgery will be done is at three months old. I am creating this go fund me to help my brother and his family in this heartbreaking, and difficult time.

Devin and Katie are not able to stay with the baby, and are currently going up to the hospital every day which is a long commute, while trying to keep their household afloat. With lost wages, gas prices, food while out at the hospital, and bills, they can use all of the help that they can get right now. Every dollar will help them weather through this storm.

I know Christmas time is financially difficult for most of us, and I can't emphasize enough how much anything would be appreciated right now.

Anything extra past the medical related expenses will go to trying to make this Christmas season as normal as possible for the older children, that are understandably already going through a lot of upheaval, without having the luxury of understanding what is happening to their family.
