Sea Scouts Stolen Boats

Hi, thank you so much for caring! 

We are the 12th Garry Oak Sea Scouts based in Cadboro Bay, Victoria. We have had our boat storage yard broken into  twice in the last 8 months.  In total, all 3 of our inflatable boats (Zodiaks) and all 4 of our outboard motors were stolen.  They serve as our safety and support boats for our sailing and kayaking programs and without them we can't sail or go on kayak trips beyond the Bay.

We are hoping to raise money to replace our boats, improve our security and be back better than ever. These boats were partially insured, but we estimate we will need at least $15,000 more to cover the full cost of these items.  Any excess funds will go towards supporting our Scout group's operations and contributing to Scouts Canada's No One Left Behind program.
