Sealy Family Funeral Expenses

Damon Austin Sealy, son of Shana and David Goodman, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in a tragic accident. Damon grew up in Montana and Virginia Beach, VA and moved to Ely, NV in 2012 with his grandparents, Teresa and Dale Sealy. He met his girlfriend Edna Perkins in 2013 and they welcomed their son Caleb on 4/28/14, the same day that Damon began working as a corrections officer at the Ely State Prison. Damon was an exceptional father and step-father. He cherished that role above all else.
Although he was only 23 years old, Damon touched the lives of many people with his infectious smile and zest for life. He was an outdoor enthusiast and loved challenging himself and getting lost in the mountains. He took his boys out to enjoy nature every chance he could and enjoyed sharing his passion of the outdoors with them. He also loved his corrections family and enjoyed being a corrections officer. He was a kind, generous, and loving person. Damon would not want us to focus on the loss of life, but on the life full of memories he left for us.
Damon is survived by his parents, Shana and David Goodman,his sister Victoria Wagner, his grandparents Teresa and Dale Sealy, his aunt and uncle, Hannah and Travis Sealy, his girlfriend Edna Perkins, his son Caleb, his step-son Carter, as well as more family and many friends.  We appreciate any monetary donations from this GoFundMe campaign to help with his services and to help support his family as the next few weeks will be particularly difficult for them.
