Sean Akers and his family

This is soo heartbreaking, if anyone could take a second to read this and any help is hugely appreciated. If you can help in anyway even if it’s just sharing this post it would mean soo much.

On 5/10/23, one of my coworkers Nicole Akers husband was rushed to the hospital unconscious and he has been in ICU since that day. He is unable to talk since he went to the hospital. There are unanswered questions to what caused this to happen. The doctors are saying spontaneous cardiac arrest but not sure. They found small PE’s in both lungs. His vitals are holding, but minimal improvement. He had a Tracheotomy & peg tube, which should help with long term recovery.

Sean is an amazing father, husband, son and friend. He is only 46 years old. He has 3 daughters and 2 sons. He has a beautiful wife. He works at Melbourne Regional Medical Center as a Mri tech but has been in the xray department about 18 years. On 5/9/23 was Sean & Nicole’s anniversary.

While Sean is fighting for his life, this family is in need of help & support from our community not only our emotional support but also financial support to help cover living expenses and medical bills.
