Little background about the Garrisons. Sean and Sarah have been together 31 yrs , married for 23. Both were full time employed, now no longer as Sarah is Sean’s full time care giver. Sean is a volunteer firefighter for Macy Township. They have 2 teen children together.
Approximately 2 months ago Sean started not feeling well so one doctor appointment after another, treating him for different things, nothing was helping.
Sarah decided to take him to Urgent Care and they ran test and decided to do more. He ended up in Woodlawn and from there he was transferred to Fort Wayne. A few days later they got his diagnosis.. CANCER. Manastanic Melanoma.
He is home but is now receiving radiation 5 days a week and starts Immutherapy 3 days a week, which means he is currently not able to work.
Sarah and family are doing all the transportation for these apps and its an adjustment for the immediate family. Sarah is not working as many hours to give Sean the best care possible.
As we all know, no time is ever a good time to have to experience such a dramatic change for a family. We are setting up this go fund me to help with bills, gas, food, and his medicine needs.
Please if you can help out it would be so greatly appreciated and if you can not we completely understand that as well.
