Please consider donating to help with the funeral/medical expenses and honor the memory of Sean Blake, an amazing husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a remarkable individual who in his younger years selflessly gave part of his liver to save a friend's life, and since his unexpected passing has donated his other organs so others have another chance at life. His family kept his body alive for four excruciating days with the sole purpose of allowing him to fulfill his final wish of donating his organs. Sean was a true hero who never hesitated to assist those in need, reflecting the kindness and compassion that defined his character. He was the type of man who would befriend anyone and light up any room that he walked into. Your donations are greatly appreciated to help Sean's wife, mother, and sisters with any medical and funeral costs. It will be incredibly painful for his family to attend the wake and funeral, but he told them earlier this year that it was what he wanted for people to gather to celebrate his life, share memories, and receive closure for the pain of his passing. It would be a terrible thing for his family to go through the pain of losing Sean and to also go into debt for the funeral and medical expenses. Please donate so that we can show Sean just how many lives he touched. Thank you and have a blessed day.

I want to share what Sean’s wife and family gave the surgeons to read to Sean right before they began the organ donation surgery:
“Heaven rewards the stars that shine the brightest, not the longest.” Sean, you were our bright star. We hope that those who receive your organ donations also receive the love that is in them and your generosity. Sean was an amazing person who brought laughter everywhere he went. He was eccentric and bold and found wonder in life in places where we may miss it or take it for granted. The handiwork of his hands and ability to think outside the box was a wonder and delight.”

IN THE WORDS OF SEAN, taken directly from his Facebook posts:

“I take great joy knowing I’ve lived more life in 40 years then most would in 200. I plan to live as long as my body and this world allows me. I’m thankful for the time I was allotted and endeavor to be a flame in a world that needs more light.”

“I hope you find it in your heart to illuminate the path for those behind you. I. Hope.”

“In a world that knows darkness, that is in pain, let’s bring light, let’s patch wounds, let us spread love to those who lack it. We can do this. Not later. Not tomorrow. Now.”

“I’m telling you now you will have a better day when you help another person have a better day”

“Whatcha doin’s today Pinky?
Same thing I do every day Brain, try to save the world.”

“Will I save the world? Probably not. But at least I care enough to try.”

“Everyone have a great day and make the people you meet better from having met you!!!”

“I’m excited to make this world a happier, healthier place for all!!!”

“Much love everyone!”
