SEAN COLLINS: OUR COACH, OUR TEACHER, OUR FRIEND
Donation protected
Those who know Sean Collins, or Coach Sean as so many kids call him and admire him, know he is one of a kind. His kind heart, bright smile, and positive energy make Sean a true winner on and off the field.
A true role model for all kids in the community, Sean Collins, both a Soccer Coach with Southampton Town United and School Teacher with the Ross School, needs your help.
In 2020, Sean was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma. He found a small lump that had appeared in his groin. He had surgery to remove the lymph node and began treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Unfortunately, even though his treatment for a year was favorable, a recent MRI revealed it had spread to his brain. The doctor's discovered a small tumor in the back of his head. A few weeks ago, Sean underwent successful brain surgery and radiation. Now, Sean is beginning his second treatment round with some very intense immunotherapy.
As always, Sean does not consider himself sick. He appreciates so much that you all care but does not want to be reminded of his illness. He has asked for privacy with his family and loved ones as he fights forward.
While fighting forward with his health, the last thing we want Sean to worry about is the medical bills that will be starting to accumulate. If anyone would like to help relieve this stress for Sean so he can focus on his family, his loved ones and his health, please consider donating here. This is a great way for the community and all those who Coach Sean has impacted over the years to support him and show him that we are with him in this fight.
ALL DONATIONS RAISED ON THIS CAMPAIGN WILL GO DIRECTLY TO SEAN.
Thank you for your consideration and his message to his players on behalf of Coach Sean Collins, "keep playing the beautiful game and see you all on the fields and in the classroom soon."
