It is with deep regret and sadness we are organizing this fundraising campaign to support the family of our dear friend and colleague Sean Edward Hynes 1969 - 2023 who lost his battle with cancer. We ask anyone who knew Sean to please support his family with expenses related to his prolonged illness and sudden passing. Sean leaves behind his wife Jenille Hynes, his four year old daughter Alita Hynes, his son Sean E. Hynes, his mother Mary Ellen Hynes, and his siblings John Hynes, Kaitlin Hynes, Lisa Hynes, Kimball Cicciu, Michael Hynes, Reghan Alexander, Shane Hynes, Kelly Hynes, and Molly Kuessner as well as a host of other family and friends.

As anyone can imagine, losing a son, brother, father and husband to cancer when they were young and healthy is extremely hard, and cancer not only takes one's life, but also drains one's finances in trying to battle the illness to survive. Please help us to provide financial assistance to Sean's surviving wife Jenille and his young daughter Alita during this difficult time.

Our country lost a warrior, a leader, and a great man on April 2, 2023. Sean forwent three diving scholarships to enlist in 1988 as a Private in the United States Marine Corps. During his military career, Sean earned his BSCE in computer and electrical engineering from the University of Florida, his MS in computer science from the Naval Postgraduate School, and his MBA from the University of North Carolina. Sean served his country with honor, distinction, and steadfast determination. and retired from the Marine Corps as a Major.

Sean went on to serve his country as a U.S. Government civilian, where he led programs supporting the Navy and Readiness programs. During his military and civilian career Sean touched many lives in his service to our country and was the hardest-working person any of us knew. Sean worked right up to the end of his life making sure his Government programs would continue to serve our nation once his time on earth had ended.

Sean was an honest, witty, kind, and loving man, loved and admired by so many people, and we all want to help his family through these tough times. Please donate any amount you can to help with medical and burial expenses. We thank you in advance for your kind donations.
