Hi all,

Firstly, we all thank you so much for helping us adapt our house, for Sean to come home. The response we have had from Don’s post has been amazing so we decided to set up a new go fund page. 

We understand this is a very difficult time for all and truly appreciate every donation towards our cause. 

It has just been over 2 years since the accident, Sean was hoping by now to have seen some improvements but unfortunately he hasn’t. His 6 weeks in hospital , with severe sepsis and in intensive care, set him back 6mths and now he has been fighting monthly infections.

I have been continuously looking and researching for Sean to gain back his hands, he just wants to be more independent to feed, dress and play with his 2 little girls again.

Verita Neuro’s name came up in a spinal cord injury group, a lady had both implants and was now standing by herself, I was amazed and had to know more…

After researching the clinic we decided that the surgically placed electrode implant is definitely what he wants to try.

once we have enough money together they will set up a video appointment and get booked in.

I would give anything to have a cuddle with Sean again.

I will keep everyone updated when the treatment/surgery starts.
