Sean, you've got to be kidney-ing me!

Last Summer, shortly after losing his job, Sean Humphries was diagnosed with kidney cancer. The doctors informed him his entire kidney will have to be removed.

Without proper health insurance, Sean set out to show that tumor who's boss, only to find himself in a Sisyphean effort to get his life-saving surgery approved by the sadistic bureaucracy that is Medi-Cal. 

After three months of playing hide-n-seek with Medi-Cal, Sean's Oncologist noticed the tumor had grown exponentially. The Oncologist put his foot down and found a way to get Sean's surgery on the books.

As of December 18th 2019, Sean is cancer free. The doctors found no sign of metastasis.

Sean is now on the path recovery, but he needs help. He will be out of work for at least two months, and will not be able to drive for at least 6 weeks.
