Sean & Jessica's IVF & Fertility Fund

Donation protected
My sister Jessica (Ji) and my brother in law, Sean have been together for 13 years and married for 5. They have dedicated their time and livelihood working with children as an educator and a youth sports coach and their dream is to have a child of their own. Unfortunately, they have had immense difficulties in their 5 year journey to parenthood and now are asking for support as it has taken a toll on them emotionally and financially.

Insurance does not cover any of the medical costs associated with IVF or fertility treatments. The cost of IVF is upwards of $35,000-$40,000.
This includes medication, shots, tests, ultrasounds, appointments, egg retrieval, embryo genetic testing, embryo transfer and embryo storage. Anyone who has spent time with them knows how important having a child is to them and know what amazing parents they would be. Even above any financial assistance, they request prayers and positive energy as they continue their infertility journey and any support would be greatly appreciated! Please take a few minutes to read about their journey below:

Sean and Jess have spent all five years of their marriage trying to get pregnant but without any success. My sister struggles with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), which is a condition that leads to hormonal imbalances that often lead to infertility issues. For the first few years, my sister went through several doctors, years of medication and tests, undergone an exploratory procedure to help her chances, but still no success. During one of her treatments, she got hospitalized with Covid, which derailed part of their treatment process. After recovering from Covid and still having no success, they decided to be more aggressive with pursuing their dreams of having a child, so they started to see a fertility specialist.

After seeing their fertility specialist, the doctor wanted to test Sean to determine which path to take regarding infertility treatment plans. At that time, they discovered that not only did my sister have barriers to fertility, but so did Sean. They've spent the past year completing treatments for him, including shots, medication, and even surgery.

Needless to say, it has been a long, emotional, and exhausting road for them. Due to my sister's age, the doctor recommends that the best option is to jump right into IVF. They've spent the last five years and tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills trying to pursue their desire to have a child, which has put a financial strain on them. In addition to the medical costs, they've had their share of medical issues in the past two years. They spent over 20K in medical expenses in the past year and a half. Although it's not easy to ask for help, they are hoping to receive support towards finally having a healthy baby.
