On Thursday, January 25, Kristin O’Neill learned that her husband and partner Sean Keeney has died. He was 41. Sean and Kristin were together since 2004, and lived in New York and Portland. Together, they had a daughter, Aoife, in 2017. Now Kristin is learning to be a single parent to her 6-year-old daughter, and she will have to support her child through this trauma alone. Aoife is a first grader at St. Ignatius School. They are members of St. Ignatius Church, and have been grateful for the arms of their community around them during this difficult time.
Sean was a hardworking professional, and had managed teams for Whole Foods, New Seasons, KinderCare’s after school care division, Champions, and the Habitat for Humanity Restore Store. Kristin has also worked for KinderCare for the past two years, as an RFP manager.
A financial contribution will help Kristin take some much-needed time to adjust to this new reality, and to give the family options they might not have otherwise. Please consider contributing to the family’s Gofundme account, to help with the many expenses that accompany this tragedy. Kristin, Aoife, and the O’Keeney family are grateful for your support.
