Please help Sean O’Shea fight kidney cancer

Those of you that know my brother know that he would rather help someone than ask for anything for himself. A few weeks ago, during a CT scan for an appendectomy, doctors discovered that Sean has cancer in one of his kidneys. Our family was devastated, but thankful that this was caught early and unexpectedly. I guess that is the luck of the Irish. On September 28, Sean had an operation at Fox Chase to remove his infected kidney. Although the operation was a success, he still faces a long road ahead. Sean will be out of work for 6-8 weeks while

he recovers. Even though I’m sure he will be upset with me, I thought it would be a good idea to start this page to help Sean and his family stay on their feet while Sean and Chrissy make the trips back and forth to his appointments at Fox Chase.

For anyone that doesn’t know my brother, he is a proud father of four and is a Sergeant First Class in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He has served his country for over 20 years including a tour in Iraq. Sean is the commander of the American Legion Post 568 in Minooka, PA. He coaches both girls basketball and boys baseball at South Scranton intermediate as well as various other baseball and basketball teams in the area. Sean is always the first to volunteer his time to help the people of his community. Today I’m asking for your help for Sean.
