Sean Thomas Dimitroff

Thank you for visiting the fundraising page in memory of Sean Dimitroff, a loving father to Logan, Lily, and fiancé to Lorna Lafond. On Tuesday, September 10th 2024, Sean passed away unexpectedly while recovering at home after a successful Ross procedure ( a cardiac surgery in which a diseased aortic valve is replaced with the patients own pulmonary valve). His death came as a shock to all who knew him and has left a tremendous void in the lives of this young family.

Sean was a positive, humorous, loyal guy who worked as a delivery driver in and around his home city. His ability to converse and humor other people will most definitely be how he is remembered by those who knew him. Despite the matter of any situation, Sean had the ability to connect and help one through their moments. Whenever called upon by friends and family, Sean was there. Whether that was him lending his truck, offering friends a hand in completing housing projects, or joining friends for a sports game, it was known, Sean would be there. Stepping up and being there is something Sean also did when he and Lorna got together in being a step father to Lorna's daughter Lily and in finding out they were expecting their own child together, Logan. Pride was a foreign emotion to Sean before the birth of his son, however after, Sean was without a doubt, a proud father.

Fatherhood, and being a caring partner to Lorna came fast for Sean, because during Lorna's pregnancy with Logan, it was found that Logan will be born with a hole in his diaphragm. Numerous trips to the specialist hours away from home was required, as well as giving birth at that hospital because immediately after birth, Logan required surgery of his own. Within the two years of Logan's life, he has already undergone two surgeries and endured lengthy hospital stays. The family is still required to travel to London for follow ups frequently. The money being raised by this go fund me is two fold, to help ensure Logan gets the monitoring and care he needs, as well as helping this young family in their time of need.

Sean was someone who was always there for others, and my hope is, we can be there for him and his family.
