Search and Rescue dog for volunteer team

Hi!
Do you live on the Canary Islands or do you visit the islands frequently? Would you want a search and rescue dog team to be able to help you if something happened to you or your family?

Me and my dog Claire (we live on Tenerife) would love to be part of this rescue organisation. It would feel great to be able to help when someone goes missing on the islands and to really make a difference.

Claire is a rescue dog herself – we met in a dog shelter here in Tenerife (Refugio de Animales K9 Tenerife ) and we clicked directly! In november last year Claire moved in with us and she is a great part of the family since then. She is now almost 2 years old and a very smart girl. She is kind, playful and very good with her nose ;-)

To be a part of this organisation we need to do a lot of training and get qualified as search dog and handler. This is where we are asking for your support.

Te gustaría que un equipo de perros de búsqueda y rescate pudiera ayudarlo si algo le sucediera a usted o a su familia?

A mí y a mi perro Claire (vivimos en Tenerife) nos encantaría ser parte de este equipo. Sería genial poder ayudar cuando alguien se pierde en las islas y realmente marcar la diferencia.

Claire es una perra de rescate, nos conocimos en un refugio para perros aquí en Tenerife (Refugio de Animales K9 Tenerife) y hecimos clic directamente! En noviembre del año pasado Claire se mudó con nosotros y desde entonces es una gran parte de la familia. Ahora tiene casi 2 años y es una niña muy inteligente. Es amable, juguetona y muy buena con el olfato ;-)

Para ser parte de este equipo, necesitamos entrenar mucho y obtener la calificación como perro de búsqueda y guía.  Aquí es donde te pedimos ayuda.

Bor du på Kanarieöarna eller besöker du öarna ofta? Skulle du önska att en sök- och räddningsgrupp med hund kunde hjälpa dig eller din familj om något skulle hända er?

Jag och min hund Claire(vi bor på Teneriffa) skulle väldigt gärna blir en del av denna räddningsorganisation. Det skulle kännas fantastiskt att kunna hjälpa till vid försvinnanden och olyckor, att verkligen kunna göra skillnad.

Claire och jag möttes på ett hundräddningscenter (Refugio de Animales K9 Tenerife) här på Teneriffa. Vi klickade direkt och i november förra året flyttade Claire hem till oss och blev snabbt en viktig del av vår familj. Nu är hon snart 2 år och alldeles underbar. Hon är smart, lekfull och väldigt talangfull med sin nos ;-)

För att vi ska kunna bli en del av enheten måste vi träna väldigt mycket och bli kvalificerade som sökhund och förare. Här skulle vi behöva ert stöd.
