Search For Sam Benastick

SEARCH IS STILL ONGOING. Search and rescue has been suspended. They are still many volunteers and private helicopters looking for Sam that we need funding for. We are so grateful for all the support we can get.

Sam Benastick is my brother, I am hoping to raise money for our family to support the volunteers who are actively searching on ground and in air. This money would go towards hotel, campsites, fuel, and food for the crew and volunteers, any money left over will be donated to search and rescue.

October 7th, 2024 Sam set off on his red Honda 230 dirt bike for a solo 10 day camping/fishing/hiking trip in Redfern-Keily Provincial Park northwest of Fort St. John, BC, Canada. Our family reported him missing on October 19th, becoming alarmed when he didn't check in after 10 days (October 17th).

RCMP (file#2024-2544), SAR, search dogs, family friends, and local volunteers are conducting a vast and extensive search to find Sam and bring him home.

Our family is devastated and is determined to find him.
