Search & Rescue for Timothy Wilson Jr.

*UPDATE* June 22, 2023: As of June 21st, the official Search & Rescue effort was suspended. Prayers for Tim's family and our community are greatly appreciated. Individual efforts may continue but this gofundme is now turned off as it was attached to the official SAR. Any remaining funds from this fundraiser will be turned over to his family. We cannot thank all the people who donated through this fundraiser or the others enough. Nothing can make up for the loss of Tim. On Friday, June 16th, Timothy Wilson Jr. went out fishing as he normally does but did not return home when expected. A search party began soon after as the weather was kicking up. The people of Kake, aided by the people of Angoon, the Coast Guard, Troopers, Seadogs, and others passing by, have been searching since. This fundraiser will help the search and rescue effort provide fuel and supplies for those out looking for Tim to bring him home. He is a legend for all he does to provide our Native foods for our community. He knows these waters and these lands, we pray he is just waiting for searchers to find him and bring him home.
