Needing a new place asap

Hi, I go by Tiny Bishie online and this new year my roommate and I learned that our building, which had previously been on the market, was sold and the new owners want everyone out. It's not an eviction, they just don't want to do renovations while people are still living there. So now my roommate and I need to find a new place for us and our two cats (see photo of their cuteness).

We are both disabled so we can only work part-time (currently 18 hours a week), so that doesn't leave much after rent, bills, groceries, etc. The new building owner is letting us keep our rent to help find a place, but so many places are more expensive than what we had been paying, and the ones I have been able to find have so many additional fees that'll quickly eat up the finds we do have which will leave us without enough to move into a new place with. By funds I mean, application fees (I've seen them from $35 to $55, and I'm not sure if that's total or per person), some require a pet deposit (I've seen $500 to $700, and I'm not sure if that's total or per pet). Additional expenses would be renting a moving vehicle and possibly hiring help to move.
