Secret Garden Brooklyn

The Secret Garden Brooklyn is an historic, community-supported English garden nestled among the brownstones of Cobble Hill. The garden is in the process of being transferred to the Brooklyn-Queens Land Trust to be preserved in perpetuity for the community.

For 2023, we are seeking to raise $5,000 to support our water bill and build a shed that will properly house the tools needed to keep the garden in tip-top shape.

Any donations also support the continued operation of the garden -- everything from buying plants and flowers, and routine tree care.

Your support will help us sustain the garden in the flourishing manner of its original owner and caretaker, Christopher, and bring continued pleasure for the many passers-by that enjoy it on a daily basis. Brooklyn is the second-most densely populated county in the country and every bit of green space matters!
