Secure Alex's Future: Support Delaney's Wish
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
My name is Austin Connell, and I’m writing to you today with a heavy heart to share the devastating news of my dear friend, Delaney Pendleton, a 28-year-old mother, and to ask for your help during what could be her final months.
Delaney is a beautiful soul—a kind, loving, and selfless person who has always put others before herself. She is a devoted mother to her 4-year-old son, Alex, who is the light of her life. Since 2022, Delaney has been battling a fierce diagnosis of cancer, fighting with everything she has to stay with her son and continue living her life. Unfortunately, this past week, doctors delivered the heart-wrenching news that Delaney’s organs are failing, and she has only about six months left to live, but will continue to fight in hopes of a cure.
As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly painful time for Delaney, Alex, and all of us who love her. Despite her own suffering, Delaney’s greatest worry remains her son—her sweet boy Alex, who she raised with so much love. Sadly, Alex’s father is not in the picture, and if the doctors' prognosis is accurate, Delaney will leave this world far too soon, and Alex will be left without both of his parents.
Delaney deserves nothing more than to spend these final months in peace, surrounded by the love of her family and friends, and creating beautiful memories with Alex. But as a single mother who has fought through endless hospital visits, treatments, and the financial struggles that come with a cancer diagnosis, Delaney needs help. **This GoFundMe is to provide her with the support she needs to live her last months without the burden of worrying about money, and to ensure that Alex will have something to support him in the future.
**Here’s how your donations will help:**
1. **Covering Delaney’s daily expenses**: Delaney should be able to focus on her time with Alex and enjoy every precious moment she has left, not worry about bills, housing, or other financial pressures.
2. **Creating a trust fund for Alex, Delaney wants to ensure that Alex has a future, even if she cannot be there to watch him grow up. Your donations will go towards building a trust for him, providing a financial cushion for his education, well-being, and future needs.
3. **Allowing Delaney to focus on love, not stress**: In these final months, Delaney should not have to think about her job, her finances, or anything else besides being present for her son. Your support will allow her to make the most of this time, giving her peace of mind knowing that Alex will have some security in his life.
Delaney is one of the sweetest, most genuine people you will ever meet. She’s the kind of person who lights up a room with her smile, who has a heart that cares for others deeply, and who always puts her son’s well-being above all else. No one should face this kind of battle, especially not a mother who has so much love to give. But right now, all she wants is to make sure Alex is cared for, loved, and supported through what’s to come.
If you can donate, whether it’s $5, $10, $50, or more, every little bit helps. If you’re unable to donate, please share this story and spread the word. **Your love, support, and prayers mean the world to Delaney and Alex.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping this incredible woman and her beautiful son. Let’s give Delaney the gift of peace, and ensure Alex has the support he will need when she’s no longer able to be there for him.
With love and gratitude,
Austin Connell
