Secure Emergency Housing & Moving Expenses

Hi, my name is Sarah and I’m the single mom of a 4 year old and we are having an emergency move due to unstable living conditions. I am working full time in the funeral service field and I’m in an accelerated academic program full time (6 courses this quarter). My daughter and I are needing to immediately vacate our current residence and move to another location due to circumstances beyond our control, partly due to financial instability caused by my former roommate failing to assist with monthly bills including rent. There has also been violence in and outside of the home that did not include us, however I cannot have my child’s safety jeopardized. I’ve already had one of my computers completely destroyed and I’m using a broken laptop to finish school. I am humbly asking for community assistance in moving out of our old house, including help paying off utilities that I have been paying alone for almost 6 months with little to no help. I also need assistance moving into a new apartment; deposits, a moving truck, and any initial moving fees to help us get safely on our feet. Anything helps.
