Secure Future Art School, Residency, & Studios

My name is Gregg and I am a visual artist and 25+ year art educator of all ages. I live and work in New York City however I was born and raised in Bombay, NY. It is located along the northernmost border of New York, Canada and the Akwesasne Mohawk territory.

On a recent trip to my parents, I saw that the local church from the late 1800's is up for sale and it sparked a longtime dream of mine to build a school (mostly for kids but open to all ages) and artist residency and art studio for the area that I still regard as home. Like much of this country, the people there are incredible but they struggle to make a living. Kids, like me growing up back in the 80's, don't know much else beyond the North Country and yet there is such creativity, strength of character and determination.

Your donations would help me purchase the property and if I am so lucky to go beyond my goal then the extra funds would be spent on the dire need of a roof, water damage and other repairs of over a decade of neglect.
