Secure Permanent Housing for Vish

Vish is a talented tour guide, translator and artist who lives in India. He is earnest, hard-working and though he often offers assistance to others, finds it difficult to ask for help himself.

The Short of It:

Vish is in need of immediate funding to secure a permanent residence after being thrown out of his family home after coming out. He has been given until the end of August to raise funds to pay back a home loan from his uncle who has decided not to accept him any longer. If he does not raise funds he will lose his home.

I (Anthony Shimek) have created this page as GoFundMe does not operate in India and Vish has been turned away from several similar local sites at least once due to being gay.

I am posting this to seek the biggest help I've ever asked in my life. I never thought that my life would come to this turn. Since 2014 I have been under tremendous pressure to get married and in 2018 when I came out to my parents and family, they threw me out like a trash. After lived on a rented accommodation, with all my savings, I decided to buy a small apartment far from everyone. When I had less money to buy an apartment, an uncle loaned me Rs. 4,00,000. Since then I am working harder to earn, save and pay back. After the COVID, I didn't have much work. Not many tours, not much translation work. I have been selling my art work to survive and save to pay to my uncle. With the time I did pay him Rs. 1,00,000 back. Even after being away from everyone, they kept finding the way to destroy me. A few months ago my family came to know about the loan and they got the uncle under their influence. Now, my uncle who helped me to buy this apartment is pressuring me to pay him back the pending amount in two months time else he will put my house on sale to get his money.

I do not know what to do, how to save my home, where to go. Being a homosexual is became a curse for me. I am all alone and helpless.

I am writing this to seek help from my friends and their friends to raise Rs. 3,00,000. I m so devastated to see myself begging to save my own life and home. I am requesting to all my friends and their friends with my folded hands to help me in this situation.
