Help Us Help More Families in Need

Imagine being able to feed hundreds of families in need each month.

Imagine being able to distribute baby diapers to single moms.

Imagine being able to offer free medical services to the uninsured.

Most people have a desire to do all of these things and more, but have no idea where to start. That was me a few years ago. I was hit by a car and had multiple compound fractures. I worked hard just to regain my ability to walk. Little did I know that it would be even harder to deal with the trauma from the accident. PTSD, anxiety and depression were my constant companions, and I was even afraid to leave my house.

A friend introduced me to a non-profit organization called Dvine Konektion or “DK” for short. From the time you walk in their doors, there is nothing but smiles, love and support from the volunteers there. I started to volunteer too and over time have become a brand-new person; stronger, confident and joyful!

I started this GoFundMe site to support DK just like they supported me. Since the pandemic started in March of 2020, the Dvine Konektion Food Pantry, Baby Pantry and Pretty & Protected Women’s Pantry has supplied food and items to over 22,000 people. They have also hosted free medical screenings onsite every month.

Now imagine doing all of this great work without any local, state or Federal funding. Dvine Konektion does not even have a paid staff; everyone is a volunteer like me! We can only help others because of donations from people like yourself. As we enter the second year of the pandemic, we are in dire need of funds to continue helping those in need.
