Seeing pawsitively in to the future

On 7/16/19 we got a call from the county shelter that 6 four week old kittens were surrendered with severe eye infections, unfortunately with the severity of their eyes the county shelter was not in a place to treat them. We agreed to take them in and get them the care they so desperately needed. We got them back to the rescue and gave them all pain meds, eye meds and eye lubricant, and tube fed them as they were not wanting to eat due to the excruciating pain they were in. Once the pain meds kicked in they began taking a bottle later that evening. They have now been seen by Locke Taylor Veterinary Hospital and have started antibiotics, a different pain medication, an antiviral medication, and eye ointment. We have scheduled a recheck in 12 days and at that time all kittens will be looking at having one if not both of their eyes removed. We are needing to raise about $2,050 on the low end of the estimate with two kittens for sure needing double enucleations and the other four needing at least one enucleation. Please help us get these little guys and girls the care that they need! With everything they have been through they are still SO sweet and just want a chance, we are their chance!
