Seeking Aid for My Uncle's Final Farewell
Donation protected
Ronnie Porter (Smiley) Local Chathamites will remember him as the smiling man in the green coat who waved and walked regardless of weather all over town to me he was my Uncle. He was my deceased aunts husband. When he passed away in January we made burial arrangements based on the amount of funds he had in a local bank. Unfortunately we did not know when the time came to withdraw the money to pay for it we would be denied access. Since he was my Uncle through marriage I was not recognized as next of kin. I am seeking release of his money through every avenue possible to pay the bill but I am not confident of it happening . In the meantime I am responsible to pay because I signed the paperwork.
As those who know me understand , I myself am permanently disabled and live on a very limited income.( If you know me you know) I raised my son as a single parent and I am a very involved volunteer with the local Chatham NY historical Society. Understandably this has become a financial hardship for me.
I know financially times are very hard for many. I do not like to ask but I need help. Every $$ helps. Please consider donating. I would be so grateful
