Seeking Help for Matthew's Recovery and Family Stability
Good morning. My name is Stephanie. My husband's name is Matthew. We have had a rough go of life lately and desperately need some help. I don't know where else to turn. We are having a financial hardship and could use support. All of our savings and money are gone now. My husband is in the hospital with bilateral pneumonia in both lungs as I write this. The doctor also told him he has some kind of lesion, a growth, on his back and needs to see an Oncologist. He's a correctional officer at a prison here in Missouri. Two months ago, he got sick from the prison and came home with COVID for the second time. He also ended up having viral pneumonia in his left lung. I ended up with COVID as well, along with bronchitis. I was in the hospital last month for almost a week. Matthew was not able to work for 5 1/2 weeks. I am disabled and unable to work. I can't believe that Matthew is in the hospital now just a little over a month later! Yesterday he was admitted. The day before that, on the way to work, Matt hit a deer and damaged our vehicle. We don't have our own place to live at the moment, and now our Trailblazer is messed up. We've been staying with family for about a month and a half now, desperately trying to get our own place again. My parents, my dad and special *bonus* mom, have let us stay with them and they have been feeding us and caring for us in other ways as well, making sure we have food, warmth, etc.
The old devil seems to really be attacking us this year and trying to destroy us in different ways. I know GOD is way bigger and stronger, and we will get through this mess. GOD is way bigger than Satan! I have never started a GoFundMe account before. I don't know what else to do. We are desperate and could really use any help possible. I would be so very grateful if y'all could spare a few dollars and help us. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you so much if you are able to help. If you are not able to, I totally understand, and maybe you could share this message somehow. Thank you. Take care and God bless.
Stephanie
