For those who decided to open up this post, I hope this message finds you well, although today has been undoubtedly the most difficult day of my life. It is with a heavy heart to share the passing of my baby girl Taffy, who peacefully left us at the age of 16. She had been facing the challenges of old age, with blindness, deafness, and a fading memory, but her departure was calm, and she looked as though she was merely sleeping before I noticed her little 4 legged fluffy body without lifeless as her soul had already began its journey to her well deserved place in heaven where we will one day again be able to see each other again.

It has been a wake-up call learning that it was not me who needed to protect her from harm but it was her who protected me from the mental aftermath and stress of what life has thrown at me and I am try to be not fall and not give up while I find a way to get her the proper respects her little 4 legged, nub-tailed silly little body deserves.

Unfortunately it could not have come at already dramatic point in my life when my one true best friend has always been there to comfort me and was always by mysid during thick and thin adding to the weight of this loss, I find myself in the midst of a challenging legal battle with my landlord. After reporting him to the LAPD and the Los Angeles housing authority for various issues, including harassment, grand theft of about 75% my personal property, and maintaining an unsafe living environment he retaliated without following legal procedures, lying, never delivered proper notification and conspiring which resulted in me and my dog taffy being forced out of our home of 5 years a gunpoint by a sheriffs lock out which was made with not even a text from my landlord which left my partner , me and my baby girl out in the rain during a storm with bitterly only the pajamas we were wearing. This has temporarily made us homeless, struggling to cope with the fallout and the emotional toll it has taken on and has proven to be a wakeup call of how difficult it has been to find help even from the organizations set in place my the city of Los Angeles and the state of California to help protect people in situations like ours.

As if fate had teamed up with my landlord to conspired against me the timing couldn't be worse. My ability to work, as my business was run from my home, has been severely impacted. Most of my inventory was stolen or damaged along with my personal belongings, leaving me in a financial situation where affording cremation services for my Taffy has become an insurmountable challenge which is why I am hoping that someone out there who understands this heartache stumbles upon this cry for help and is willing to help us out with a donation help make sure her Miniature-Schnauzer body to rest.

Desperately seeking help, I am reaching out I find myself in the difficult position of being unable to cover the costs of Taffy's cremation. I am exploring all possible avenues to ensure she receives a dignified farewell. Unfortunately, I face the difficult choice of either surrendering her to a vet or the humane society, where I would have to bring her in a plastic bad and her body would be be "disposed of" without her ashes returned (which is how it was explained to me when I called to weigh my options and seek help from the humane society’s representative) or illegally burring her which jeopardize her final resting place by another animal who can dig her up or run the risk of it creating a unsanitary situation for other people, animals or the environment around location of place her bod lay to rest if I have to go that route.

If anyone out there is in a position to off assistance to help me during this trying time, it would mean the world to me. I am running out of options time and hope, and any support, no matter how small, will make a significant difference.

No matter what I thank you for taking the time to read this message as bring my Taffy's life story to an end and on the shelf in my heart where she will always be for me to remember when I need to not only count my blessings, but also put a smile on my face.

3/2/2024 - I was able to talk to the owners of the cremation company and they were really cool people, they allowed me to leave a small deposit and are allowing me to pay when I come pick up Taffys Ashes next week! I am so relieved and it gives me time to come up with the rest of the money.
