Hello, It’s been a long journey. Many of you know me as Kathy Draper or Dr. Kathryn “Kathy” Larson. Yet, it is still not over. My purpose and ability to serve in education have been hindered since 2014 and my family were harassed until the point where I lost all I have worked for with just their attempt to break me. We lost our family pet, our home and we were both physically and emotionally harmed in this journey. On March 4, 2022, I witnessed something on 4th and Eastern in Moore, Oklahoma that it made me go Tinker Air Force Base for help and protection. However, I was dragged and beaten by a Del City Police Officer on Tinker Air Force Base and taken off of the base and falsely incarcerated. They proceeded to deny me my judicial rights and created two fake probable causes that were turned to felony counts on 3/7/2022 by Judge McCray. I spent 9 nights and 10 days in the Oklahoma County Detention Center where I received no medical, I was hit and pushed so hard to ground by a woman named Alona. I was put in isolation with an inmate that was male which violates the PRIA Act. I have spent two years fighting this case, because I was falsely charged. I was put in jail again by Judge Stallings, because I questioned the jury selection process. I was sent in for 30 days with no bail pending a competency exam that questioned my understanding of the judicial system. On February 20, I took a plea deal given by Taylor Thompson, Morgan Smithton, and Judge Stallings. Fortunately, I did my research and used the Dusky Standard and the 6th Amendment and I was finally exonerated on March 7, 2024. However, I am waiting on my restitution that I am owed and I can’t teach. I hope you can help me continue to trying to finally receive my restitution and move forward with my life. I do plan filing a civil and criminal lawsuit against those who hurt my family and myself during this journey. From October 2022-July 2023, I lived with a room mate named Brian Drew and his sister Johnny and Keisha Drew lived around the corner. During that time, I was teaching 3rd grade at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary and speaking to a friend named Major General Brian Mennes. I got really sick and was put under Risk Management care until I saw an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist. I was harassed and retaliated by Mr. Ruzzoli who was my principal to the extent that I was put on administrative leave with pay still under Risk Management care pending a complaint filed by the EEOC which is still pending. I was attacked and punched by Brian Drew and I filed a domestic complaint with Officer Mauck and his brother Johnny Drew pulled a gun on me, but I was the one who was evicted. I moved to the Extended Stay on August 6th and was harassed by the manager named Tracy and a new female employee. I left there when I was taken to jail again on January 23rd by Judge Stallings.
Most recently, on May 25, 2024, I was drugged at the Embassy Suites in Norman, Oklahoma and wrongfully accused of a DUI. I requested a blood analysis at Norman Regional and then I was taken to the Cleveland County Detention Center by Officer Nelson with Norman PD and booked by a Deputy Harris who put me in a holding tank with a non-working toilet full of feces. I was not given an ID card to make outgoing calls until the day I was released on my own personal recognizance. This case is pending. On June 27, 2024, I was parked at Moore High School watching a baseball game and a strange man parked next to me kept making comments that scared me so I went to the Moore officer at the game for help. However, I was arrested by Officer Lewis and taken to the Cleveland County Detention Center. I was charged with public intoxication, but never given a test and I had no money to buy alcohol. I only had my SNAP card. He did not read me my rights. I was denied my 2 phone calls and not given a blanket, utensils, toiletries and I was assaulted by Deputy Melton. I was released late Friday evening. On Saturday, I walked to Moore High and was grateful to see that my Jeep was locked and sitting in the same spot, but I noticed a drone flying overhead and when I walked over to the parking lot on Main Street, I noticed a Moore Police Officer standing near a newer model black Jeep. He was using a remote that controlled the drone. I was concerned because not only did it fly over me numerous times, but students were on campus running and near the field house. I saw that officer and two additional squad cars head towards the station. I went to the Moore Police Station to pick up my keys, but I was treated rudely by a female officer on the phone in the station and a supervisor who came out to the front to advise me that property where my keys were would be closed until Monday. I asked if they could call Angela who runs property or the chief. They said we don’t bother them on the weekend. I explained my wallet was in there. I saw the drone once again fly over when I was at the laundromat. Needless to say, I finally got my keys the following Tuesday and I was able to retrieve my Jeep.
