Yakir’s memory (Sefer Torah, Tehilim, Memorial monument)
Donation protected
In loving memory of Yakir Levi, a dedicated sergeant in the Golani Unit, we come together to commemorate his bravery and his care for Israel people and homeland.
Yakir exemplified extraordinary courage on the frontlines during the Gaza border war, where he functioned as commander displayed remarkable leadership, offered vital medical aid, saved lives, and ultimately sacrificed his life to save his fellow soldiers.
Yakir's commitment to others extended beyond his military service.
He was a dedicated volunteer with Magen David Adom, helping those in need and supporting his schoolmates with monthly payments.
His life was tragically cut short on "Simchat Torah," a holiday that holds special significance for our community.
Yakir was born to parents Asaf and Tali Levy, who instilled in their children a deep love for our homeland and a commitment to its protection.
Just like his brother, Yakir served in a combat position, a testament to his family's unwavering dedication to Israel.
In Yakir's memory, we wish to honor his legacy and the sacrifices made by our soldiers who defend our lives, our land, and our tradition every day.
To do so, we plan to dedicate a Sefer Torah. This symbolizes our commitment to continue his mission and ensure the safety and success of our brave soldiers.
We extend an invitation to all to participate in this Mitzvah, to come together and perpetuate Yakir's memory by supporting the cause he held dear.
Join us in honoring his legacy and protecting the values he held close to his heart.
