Sefer Torah for IDF Leilui Nishmat Shlomo

This year marks 4 years since our dear Shlomo passed away suddenly days after Purim, on Chai Adar Shabbos Parshat Ki Tisa, March 14, 2020. We would like to begin the initiative to raise money for a Sefer Torah for Shlomo.

After Learning about Oz Ve’ Hadar- Sefer Torah Scroll for IDF we decided that this is the perfect initiative for Shlomo’s Sefer Torah Campaign.

Oz Ve’ Hadar Project is an organization that restores Sefer Torahs that were damaged in the field during battle and training in Israel, and donates it back to the Army Base.

Having a Torah scroll on the base and reading from it helps the soldiers to fight enemies with trust that Hashem is on their side and gives them extra strength.

We feel that Shlomo would be so proud to be part of this Campaign not only for Israel and the IDF soldiers, but because he was an IDF soldier himself.

Shlomo was a bright light, a pure Neshama, and a true soldier who was ready to help any one in need. He loved bringing joy to others.

Please help us in this initiative so we can reach our goal!

May the Neshama of Shlomo Ben Avraham have the highest Alyiah!
