Seham & Malyah’s Army - healing and stability

With this gofundme, we want to ask people to celebrate the lasting spirit of our daughter, sister, niece, mother, and friend; Seham Haj. Aside from being a source of pure, unadulterated fun, joy, and love, she maintained a strong focus on her family, (Especially her daughter, Malyah) and her love of her work community.

As she has always done, she will join us for each family meal, celebration, and remembrance. We will hear her laughter and see her smile, radiate throughout the room. Her memories will continue to bring us joy and remind us of her powerful spirit.

As a member of the homeless community, she served as an inspiration and a beacon of wisdom. She frequently said all the right things when deescalating situations. Her words and kind spirit, always provided safety and comfort to those in need.

With the tragic fire on January 1st, a day typically set aside as one of rebirth and renewed faith, we were greeted with a truth that we must accept. We are now focused on fortifying a foundation of love and growth for Malyah.

We are asking for your financial support and assistance in rebuilding the material world that she lost in the family’s house fire. Seham worked tirelessly to provide a safe place for her and her daughter. She had just closed on their new home, a little over a month ago.

As we have always done, we will provide Malyah with family, love and support. While nothing can replace the loss of her mother, we will do our part. We ask those who have known Seham’s infections love and joy, to assist us with creating a stable, financial world for her daughter.
