Seizure Service Dog for Greg
Donation protected
My husband Greg has suffered from epilepsy for several years. In the last year his seizures have gotten more frequent and intense, sometimes resulting in several grand mal seizures in one day. Greg has met all qualifications for getting a Seizure Alert Service Animal, and the positive impact it would have on him, and on our life as a family would be immeasurable.
With two young children in our home a Service Animal would be a great measure of not only comfort, but safety, in assuring that Greg could receive help, even if alone with our children.
The funds raised by this campaign would go directly to the purchase cost of a custom trained service dog.
The out of pocket cost is $20,000, with a requirement of 30% to begin the 10-13 month client specific training process. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover any of the cost.
We would be unbeleivably grateful to anyone who could help. If you are unable to help, please spread the word by sharing our fundraiser. This animal would mean more independence for Greg, and more peace of mind for the rest of our family. We would be forever grateful.
Thank you!
