Sekoyah’s Journey of Healing

On Saturday morning, May 15, Sekoyah was involved in a tractor accident. She was run over by the back wheel which fractured her pelvis in several places. She was immediately flown to Oahu for care. After several days of evaluation, it seems as if she will be in a wheel chair for 4 weeks, a walker beyond that, and then physical therapy and follow up appointments. She is still in the hospital in Oahu, unknown to when she will be able to return home to Big Island. We are seeking help with the costs of anything insurance does not cover, medical expenses such as physical therapy, airfares to and from Oahu for going home and possible follow up appointments, both of her parents being out of work for an undetermined amount of time, as well as holistic care upon her return home. We are so grateful for the love, support, and prayers we have received. Sekoyah is a trooper! And her headstrong attitude is helping her recovery immensely. Thank you all for loving Sekoyah.
