Selah's Journey
Donation protected
After having an MRI to discover the source of chronic headaches, it was revealed that Selah had a golf ball size tumor at the base of her brain. The tumor has been removed entirely. Selah will be undergoing radiation and chemo to make sure the tumor (which was a medulloblastoma) doesn't come back! As of right now, Saint Jude in Memphis seems to be our best option for treatment. The treatment she will receive there is going to help lessen the long term side effects of radiation.
**Update as of April 28, 2016**
Radiation went well. Selah was a champ and did not experience much of the short term side effects. Once we got home she did begin to feel the fatigue. The first phase of treatment is behind us. We have had a month at home to rest and now we are heading back to Memphis for four months of chemotherapy.
Money donated through this link will help relieve financial stress so that the family can focus on Selah's health and care during this time. Thank you!
