Selena Benz, (Sonny Farnum's daughter) and (Connie Farnum's stepdaughter)

My stepdaughter Selena is only 49 years old and has been fighting cancer for 4 years. They take several trips a week to Iowa City, Iowa. She has had 2 surgeries, and several rounds of chemo and radiation. There is a mountain of bills coming and no way to pay them. Her husband has a job but with all the missed time due to Selena’s sickness, he has used all his sick time and vacation time. They are behind on all bills and need money to be able to go back and forth between Ankeny and Iowa City.

The doctors now say there is nothing more that they can do for her but make her comfortable. They have exhausted all treatments. She is in stage 4. They have no savings and no insurance and no way to pay for the funeral and living costs. Her husband John now has to figure out where to move to because the owners of the mobile home park where they live have sold and all tenants were told they need to be out by March. They have no clue where they will be moving to. They have nowhere to go.

Most of the money raised will be used for her funeral cost but some will be used so he can pay the bills that are needed and money to be able to travel back and forth to Iowa City.
