On January 21st, 1996 God gave us a beautiful sister, daughter, cousin & friend. Selena Josefina Araiza. Full of laughter and joy not just as a baby but as a teenager & adult as well. Selena gave us all a reason not just to smile but to frown and be mad sometimes but that’s what makes life because everyone she knew and loved gave her all those memories.
Selena was someone who didn’t ask for a lot (just from her parents). She took life for what it is, she knew everyday was a fight and she was ready for the challenge. Starting her career path, Selena looked to become a nurse and her goal was not too far from complete. Unfortunately, God had better plans for Selena and on February 14th, Selena was taken from us all.
We all loved her in our own special way. As a family we never thought we would ever have to create a GoFundMe because no one ever thinks about life ending so soon for a young girl like Selena.
