Self sustainable not for profit wildlife hospital
There is NO veterinary care for wildlife in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia! Pilbara Wildlife Carers Assoc have been rescuing, raising, rehabilitating and releasing wildlife for 23 years. On average 1200 - 1500 animals are brought in annually, of which around 62% are successfully rehabilitated and released. HOWEVER our biggest need is for skilled, experienced vets to treat wildlife. Our social enterprise Veterinary hospital once build, is completely self-sustainable, as funds are reinvested into our core mission of wildlife and wildlife education.
The money raised here is to purchase our block of land, after which we can then go on raise funds, obtain grants and funding to build the hospital.
We are a registered Charity and we have DGR status so your donation is tax deductible!
